Andrea has been a qualified and registered Osteopath since 1999, with extensive experience across Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Her approach focuses on optimising biomechanical function and supporting the body’s inherent healing abilities through natural, hands-on osteopathic care. Andrea has a special interest in Osteopathy in the Cranial Field, biodynamic osteopathy, pregnancy and paediatric care, and working with people of all ages, from newborn babies through to older adults.

Dr Andrea Wheatley has been a qualified and registered Osteopath since 1999.
Andrea updates her skills and knowledge with annual professional development training. Most of her post graduate study has been in the Biodynamic approach to Cranial Osteopathy. Cranial Osteopathy does not only involve treatment of the head, but it is also a treatment for the whole body to facilitate its return towards health and normal biomechanical function. The body is constantly unfolding and being renewed. The same unfolding invisible force that drives our growth and development as children also drives our healing throughout our entire lives.
Andrea has vast experience in treating newborns, pregnant women, injuries from complex trauma (high speed sporting collisions such as falls from horses, motorbikes, skiing injuries Etc), the aftermath of falls in the elderly.
Andrea has owned and operated clinics in Adelaide, Melbourne and Barcelona (alongside a Yoga studio for Mamas y Bebes) and she has worked in private practice in New Zealand.
In addition to studying locally within Australia and New Zealand, Andrea completed 3 years training in Biodynamic Paediatrics at the Swiss Academy of Traditional Osteopathy, treating neuro-musculo-skeletal issues in babies and children.
Andrea is very passionate about offering quality Osteopathic care for families on the Fleurieu Peninsula and beyond!
